Employee Spotlight: Emma Craig

Meet Emma Craig, Business Administrator at RSWA.  Emma has worked for RSWA for two years and is one of our key personnel.  Emma is the face behind our Accounts Team, managing the systemic tracking, storing, recording, and analysing of RSWA’s financial matters as well as assisting our clients and suppliers.

What does your typical day look like? What does your job entail?

No day is ever the same when working for RSWA.  My main responsibility is the smooth functioning of the accounting department, in its simplest form: making sure vendors are invoiced and suppliers are paid.   However, my role is really varied and I also assist the GM with marketing, and business development and improvement.

What drew you to RSWA originally? And how has RSWA changed since?

I started at RSWA as a new mum after relocation to Perth from a regional town.  RSWA offered me a varied and interesting role coupled with flexible working hours and the ability to work from home.  The RSWA team has high standards that they support you to meet whilst still maintaining that family feeling.  The company is a small business that is growing monthly and it’s an exciting time to be a part of an up-and-coming specialist business.

On a personal note – tell us one thing on your bucket list?

I have a long and varied bucket list, I’d have to say at the top of my bucket list is a trip to the Galapagos Islands both on land and underwater.  The diversity and uniqueness of the wildlife is what draws me.  I’ve travelled extensively in the past, my life has changed and I now have two small children, I’d say this trip is a long way off!
